We were looking for some dinner and found The Stand on yelp. Reviews looked good so we thought we would check it out. Inside had tons of seating and outdoor seating as well. Inside was semi clean, but few tables had food still sitting from previous customers. Service was super friendly. We placed our order and we took our number and found a seat. Food took a while to come out, but once it did it was tasty. We loved the house made fries and guac. The fire fries were disappointing, they were completely soggy from all the sauce. Maybe put it on the side of just drizzle it on? The short rib grilled cheese was tasty and very filling. Next time we are in town we will be back
Best burger in Irvine. Friendly quick service. Dining room tables always seem to be dirty. They should get to cleaning them more quickly when people leave. I always notice this whenever I stop by. Fries and onion rings are good. This place expensive but worth a stop.
Came here right when it closed. I thought they were open until 9 pm. But yelp hours were wrong. They still accommodated my order. They were so friendly and nice and did not have to do that by any means. I hate making places order when they're already starting to clean up. I feel very lucky to have gotten service nonetheless. This place is wonderful and should be so grateful to have wonderful staff to represent their brand. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble but they definitely went above and beyond to make sure I got good customer service. I'll come on time next time :) 11/10
Let me tell you. This was my first time, and I was so so impressed. I got the blue burger, and my boyfriend got the jalepeno bacon(?) burger. We both enjoyed our burgers! I also like how everything is so customizable, the condiments are free of charge, the meat doneness, etc. The star of the show that got me giddy was the Cookie Crunch milkshake. They definitely put so love into that. DELICIOUS. 10/10 Also, the girl that handed us our milkshake was so nice! Service is great. :)
While at a previous job, they had ordered food from The Stand and I've been meaning to go back myself ever since. My old boss had recommended the short rib grilled cheese, and I was obsessed with it on the first bite. Fast forward to a few months later when I was able to taste this masterpiece once again, and it still hits the same. The short rib is flavorful and tender, the bread is buttery and just crispy enough. Their blueberry lemonade that I also just tried was great too, this will definitely be a common new lunch spot for me!
Was craving a burger other than in n out and The Stand was definitely a good replacement! I love how they have other things besides hamburgers. Their onion rings and sweet potatoe fries are yummy! We got their regular burger and the onion burger LOL. But they were all good, just a little overcooked for medium done. But the servers were great and enthusiastic, and food came out relatively fast! Would return here!
It's incredibly rare for me to say this, but I genuinely have nothing negative to share about my dining experience at The Stand in Tustin Marketplace. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and guided us through the menu, knowing it was our first visit. Their friendly and helpful demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. I decided on the Blue Burger, while my partner chose the Brisket Grilled Cheese. Let me start with the burger--before I even took my first bite, I could smell the smoky aroma of the charcoal grill. The bun was perfectly fresh, and the burger itself was cooked to absolute perfection. I ordered the barbecue sauce on the side, unsure how it would pair with the blue cheese crumbles, but once I tried them together, I realized the burger was flawlessly designed as is. Now, the true star of the show: the Brisket Grilled Cheese. Calling it a sandwich feels almost disrespectful--it's a culinary work of art. The Parmesan-crusted bread was crisp yet melted in my mouth, while the brisket was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The addition of grilled onions and sauce took it over the top. Words fail to do justice to this masterpiece. You simply have to try it to understand. The space itself is thoughtfully designed--spacious and inviting, with plenty of room for families and groups to gather comfortably. It's the perfect spot for anyone who loves incredible food paired with a great atmosphere. The Stand is a must-visit.
I'm not a big burger person, but I would gladly keep coming back here. First of all, their food options in general are just crazy in terms of how much they offer. Most burger places stick to burgers only, but honestly, EVERYTHING on their menu sounded amazing. I stuck with the Havarti Shroom with the Brioche bun because I love a good shroom burger with sweet potato fries on the side. We ordered literally every sauce as well. Service was really quick for 4 burgers and 2 shakes. When I brought it home and took the first bite, I was BLOWN AWAY. The meat was so well cooked and juice. It was a solid medium rare. All of the textures and sauce in the burger were amazing. I can't remember the last time I had a burger that good. You can't go wrong with any of the sauces either. I didn't have a favorite. I just kept rotating with my fries. Please just go here if you really want a good burger for a decent price.
Growing up from rice and bamboos, burgers and mayo are a mystery to me. In a way I don't understand it but am intrigued in doing it right. The Stand Is So Yummy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The menu selection itself is a fun journey to go through, the variety of choices, combination of flavors and what it means to have an actual vegetarian burger and not just as Ron Swanson puts it, 'food'n'stuff- where he gets most of his food and stuff. Where burgers are just meat with buns. The ratio of the stand burger in shredded lettuce, tomato, patty, spread and cheese are just perfect with every bite. Nothing falls out of place while your mouth barely cuffs the entire bun from top to bottom. I loved the havarti shroom burger. I'm sure it would be amazing with medium rare patty but just as mind-blowing with a veggie patty. You can see everything that's in there. The corn, carrots, chickpeas.. whoever makes that patty, I salute you and let me just peel some potatoes for you. And those chili fries, so addictive. Sticky, spicy, salty and sweet. That's hitting all 4 S's! Sweet potato fries too, so yummy and cut in the waffle shapes. I love that but often in regular potatoes they don't age as well after 10 minutes. Sweet potato maintains a certain bounce even after it's cooled. I eat slow because I got teeth like one who qualifies for AARP. Also you just can't beat the price, especially given what's around and how good it is. But I'm not sure about their spicy honey mustard sauce.
One stop shop for classic American fare - burgers, fries, shakes, beer, dessert and much more. They have a good selection of menu items to choose from. We ordered different sandwiches, sweet potato fries, onion rings, mac n cheese, beer, root beer float and a brownie. They were all pretty tasty. I would want to try their shakes next time. There are indoor and outdoor seating so it's big enough for groups. Plenty of parking available.
